This client, wanting to get more mileage from ongoing webinar efforts, hired me for content repurposing, during which I transformed multiple webinars into ebooks.

If your webinar is long, or jam-packed with valuable information, as was the case in this ebook-from-webinar sample, you might want to do as my client did and turn the webinar content into a series of ebooks.

A few things to note about this marketing ebook sample

As you look at the sample, note that I didn't just transcribe the webinar and plop the transcribed text into an ebook format. That's not content repurposing; my client wouldn't have needed a writer to simply move transcribed text into an ebook template.

Instead, I:

  • Listened to the webinar
  • Transcribed it (not for reading, just for notes)
  • Picked out the most relevant, valuable information
  • Organized that information in a way that would make sense to readers
  • Created headings
  • Wrote introduction and transition text
  • Found illustrative examples and images from the web

P.S. I also want to add that I did not select the image you'll find on the cover of this ebook sample. I don't like it (I hate it!) and would have used a different image if I had my way 🙂
