Writing web content for a medical consultant is no different than writing web content for any other audience: No matter what product or service you offer, no matter your space, your web content needs to speak in the language of readers. This is especially critical when you're offering a highly specialized, niche product or service, say, for instance ... pediatric emergency room consulting services.
That's what this project was about. To develop web content for my client -- a physician who specializes in pediatric emergency medicine - I conducted an in-depth interview with the physician, and then spent time researching to learn about the target reader and its concerns, and to become fluent in its vocabulary.
