Want to Produce a Promotional Article?
Looking for a Copywriter Who's Also a Ghostwriter?
One great way of getting free publicity, and becoming known as an expert
in your field, is to write articles about the product or service you sell.
For example:
- Are you a marriage counselor? How about an article called "14 Ways
to Make Sure Your Marriage Lasts"?
- Sell jewelry? Why not, "18 Things You Need to Know Before You
Buy Your Next Diamond"?
- Sell pools? Try, "7 Tips: Make Sure You Get the Pool of Your
Dreams."
If you're selling direct to consumers, query the magazines your target
market reads to see if they'd be interested in a piece related to your
topic. Or, query local and regional newspapers to interest editors in
feature articles. Either way, you get your name out there, become known
as an expert, and win extra sales!
If businesses are your target, query trade publications that your business
segment reads. For example:
- Sell Web sites? How about, "18 Ways to Make the Web Work for Your
Business."
- Sell Office Supplies? Try, "How to Organize Your Office to Save
Time and Money."
Don't fret if you're not a writer. The Write Idea will help you develop
ideas and point you to markets for this fabulous and free way of getting
your name out and garnering free publicity.
If you'd like me to get to work on an article to promote your business
or to educate your prospects, e-mail me or give
me a call. We'll get the word out about what you're offering, and increase
your visibility, image and profits--all at the same time.
Ghostwriting and Article Writing Fees
Ghostwriting, article and report writing fees begin with a one-time
charge of between $300 to $2,000 to cover my initial consultations, research and interviews.
Then, add on from 50 cents up to $2.00 per word, based on how much work,
such as research and interviewing, needs to be done.
Depending on what you plan to do with the article, you may want to hire
me to write query letters first to get the go-ahead from an editor to
produce an article. Query letter fees begin with
an initial fee of $600 for the pre-writing work, and include the first
query. Additional query letters cost between $200 and $400 each, depending
on the complexity of the project. If you decide to hire me to query editors
first, and if I get an assignment, I won't charge you the consultation
fee twice.
You'll only have to pay our agreed upon per-word rate.
Ghostwriting, Article and Query Letter Portfolio
Note that I can't publish my ghostwritten pieces here--business owners
who use me to ghostwrite their articles often don't want others to know
they've had the assistance of a professional writer.
