This attorney specializing in foreclosure cases came to me for help in developing a direct mail campaign to send to homeowners at distinct stages of the foreclosure process.
To give me a sense of what we were up against in a homeowner's mailbox, the attorney sent me a box of mail that a client of his had collected when he hit bad times and faced foreclosure. I couldn't believe the mountain of mail! Some attorneys sent only a single letter, but several other firms sent multiple mailings.
My job was to somehow help my client's envelopes and mailings stand out.
To do so, I suggested that we create a series of four letters and enclose with each letter one in a series of free, informational reports that matched the phase of foreclosure the reader was in.
